Nishant Wadhwani
Founder & Managing Director
Nishant Wadhwani is the Founder and Managing Director of Insightful Intelligence Consultancy, with over 15 years of experience in due diligence, intelligence-led risk advisory, and complex investigations across India, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. has advised private equity funds, law firms, multinational corporations, and advisory firms on high-risk transactions, compliance risks, and market entry decisions.
His expertise spans enhanced due diligence, reputational and integrity intelligence, political exposure assessments, compliance audits, corporate investigations, BI analytics and primary intelligence (HUMINT). Nishant is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a part of Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) and Strategic Consortium of Intelligence Professionals (SCIP).
He represented the Indian business environment and competitive scenario in various international conferences. He was invited by SCIP to deliver a session on “Entering and Expanding in diversified markets: India as an example” in SCIP Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. He has also presented in other conferences in Europe, US, Hong Kong and Singapore. He chaired a session and presented a paper on Strategic Analysis Model (SAM) for Emerging Markets in the conference organized by Amity University.

Dheeraj Wadhwani
Director – Strategy & Operations
Dheeraj Wadhwani leads strategy and operations at Insightful Intelligence Consultancy, with primary responsibility for the execution and management of complex intelligence-led engagements, including Human intelligence, discreet source enquiries, compliance audits, and multi-jurisdiction intelligence assignments. He oversees field operations, source-based intelligence collection, and engagement delivery to ensure depth, accuracy, and operational consistency across projects.
He specializes in designing and supervising risk-based compliance audits, integrity assessments, and investigative workflows, ensuring that intelligence gathered from primary and secondary sources is validated, structured, and translated into clear, decision-ready outputs. Dheeraj works closely with clients and internal teams to manage sensitive intelligence processes while maintaining strict confidentiality and independence.
His hands-on, operations-driven approach ensures timely execution of assignments, strong quality control over intelligence inputs, and adherence to the firm’s ethical standards and information security protocols.
Karan Lakhamani
Team Lead – Operations
Karan Lakhamani leads operational execution for due diligence and intelligence assignments at Insightful Intelligence Consultancy. He manages teams responsible for conducting comprehensive due diligence reviews, public records and database checks, and quality assurance across engagements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of findings.
He specializes in secondary intelligence collection, leveraging advanced research techniques, deep-dive databases, and analytical tools to uncover information from complex and hard-to-trace sources, including deep-web environments. Karan supports the validation of intelligence inputs, helps identify potential risk indicators, and ensures the firm maintains high standards of analysis, confidentiality, and reporting quality.
